Walter Lewis started his musical sojourn at the age of thirteen. The British invasion amazed Walter and thereafter inspired his developing musical style. With a blues based influence, Walter pursued a career with rock n' roll and performed on the East Coast for many years. Later, Walter became intensely motivated and enthralled with historical blues, researching and learning traditional Mississippi Delta blues, and the regional culture and lifestyle of early blues men and women. He subsequently focused his style and craft on blues exclusively and thereafter received an award at the Apollo Theater Amateur Night in 1998 for his performance of Robert Johnson's. "Ramblin' on my mind".

Giff Foster started playing bass at the age of eleven and played his first professional gig at thirteen. While Giff played in the Advanced Project Band in Wilton, CT, he started to lean more towards the blues roots of rock n' roll. You can hear some of Giff's work on Davis Coen's latest release, "Blues from the get go". Giff has also performed in blue grass and orchestral ensembles as well as with many famous and infamous musicians. After accomplishing excellence with both the upright and electric bass, he has come full circle. He now fills the bottom of Black Cat Bone.

Ed Train began his musical career at the age of six when he heard his first grade teacher, Mr. Greenfield, play "Puff the Magic Dragon" and "I Want To Hold Your Hand" on the accordion. He has been playing keyboards ever since. Through perseverance and determination, he has mastered his skill as an accompanist with influences as varied as Herby Hancock, Jimmy Smith and Ray Charles. His proficiency at the keyboard is profound and his solos are awesome. Through Black Cat Bone, Ed recently discovered the late, great blues pianist, Otis Spann. He will never be the same again.

Bill Davidson has been tapping the tom toms since age thirteen. After studying under Carmine Appice and performing with several different high school bands, he joined the Rise band and subsequently signed a deal with Epic Records. Ten years later, Bill joined "The Boys" and continued recording and touring. Bill has also been a member of the "Bobby White R&B Revue" band and "The Atlantic Run Band." He has performed far and wide, from Nantucket to Maui Hawaii. He plays Yamaha Drums and Zildjian cymbals!
